VACANCY: ACCOUNTS CLERK

Location: Nakuru, Kenya

We are seeking to recruit a diligent, organised, and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team in Nakuru.

The successful candidate will support the Finance and Accounts function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, performing reconciliations, and ensuring that financial documentation is properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and process financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations as assigned.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial records and documents.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA Section III or above.
  • Relevant experience in an accounting or finance environment will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Men aged 25 years and above are encouraged to apply.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • The successful candidate should be based in or have strong ties to Nakuru.

VACANCY: INTERNAL AUDITOR

Location: Nakuru, Kenya

We are seeking to recruit a competent, experienced, and results-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in Nakuru.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and strengthening internal controls, assessing risks, reviewing compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and providing practical recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, accountability, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits and risk-based reviews across various business functions.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and areas of potential fraud or irregularity.
  • Prepare clear and well-supported audit reports and communicate findings to management.
  • Follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations.
  • Review compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Support investigations and special audit assignments as required.
  • Provide value-adding recommendations to improve governance, risk management, and internal controls.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in accounting or auditing, such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or an equivalent qualification, will be an added advantage.
  • Men aged 35 years and above are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk-based auditing, and audit methodologies.
  • Good analytical, report-writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting and audit software will be an added advantage.
  • The successful candidate should be based in or have strong ties to Nakuru.
